The sport of archery has come to Saint Paul school! Archery is a distinguished, dignified sport that not only improves hand-eye coordination, but also focus, balance and control. It instills a sense of respect for a weapon without the danger of a weapon. Our archery team is open to 4th-8th graders and requiers several coaching volunteers. This is a year-long commitment. The School Advisory Council is always seeking to applicants for the SAC as members roll-off due to term limits or personal reasons. If interested, please submit this questionnaire to Mrs. DeMakas to be considered for the vacant position. The process will comprise a review of the questionnaire by the council's membership committee, then names will be submitted to the school advisory council to conduct interviews. Fr. Szatkowski and Mrs. DeMakas will appoint the open position after reviewing all candidates. The council meets once a month throughout the school year and advises the school administration on relevant matters, including fundraising, marketing, Catholic identity, and technology improvements.
This annual event occurs during Catholic Schools Week and provides runners and non-runners alike the chance for athletic camraderie in the spirit of the school. is seeking a committee of volunteers and is hosted during Catholic Schools Week. Planning will begin early August.
National Wreaths Across America Day is on December 17 this year.
On National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to remember, honor and teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery as well as at more than 2,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
