Cub Scout Pack 728 is chartered by Saint Paul the Apostle Church. Parents of young boys face a lot of choices in after-school activities. Boys want to have fun, while parents want them to learn positive values and skills that will last a lifetime. If your boy is about to enter first through fifth grade, Cub Scouting may be exactly what you are both looking for.
Generations of American men have participated in and benefited from Cub Scouting, and the experience of serving millions of participants over almost a century has enabled us to make Cub Scouting one of the most exciting and rewarding programs available to your family. In Cub Scouts we have monthly themed Pack Meetings, go on field trips, participate in camping and fishing, learn about citizenship and community service and much more all in a family atmosphere. But most of all, we have a lot of FUN!
Pack 728 meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm with monthly hikes and special events scheduled throughout the year. We welcome the opportunity to tell you more about the Cub Scouting program, meet our Pack Leaders and discover what Fun with a Purpose really means. If you are interested in Cub scouting, please contact Cub Master, Greg Campbell, grcamp@sbcglobal.net
Boy Scout Troop 728 is a very dynamic boy-run troop with fantastic adult leadership and support. We camp monthly and have meetings on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM (except for campout weekends or holidays). We have the resources to keep meticulous record of your merit badge progress and your rank advancement. Troop 728 participated in several long-term camps this year including 2 crews to Philmont Scout Ranch (our third trip in 5 years), Summer Camp at Constantin in Circle 10 and Steele Island at Sid Richardson in Longhorn Council. The Troop is strong in advancement and we have great success with the boys on the Road to Eagle.
Join us at Troop 728 as we Build Character One Scout at a Time.
We normally meet every week on Sunday (except for campout weekends) at 6:00 p.m., at Saint Paul the Apostle School, 720 S. Floyd Road, Richardson. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 830072, Richardson, Texas 75083-0072. Contact: scoutmaster@ troop728.net
