Afterschool Clubs and Programs

Saint Paul is rich with opportunities for students to get involved with individual interests or engage their leadership skills. Some of these opportunities are noted below. 

• Altar Servers (5th-8th)

• Choir (6th-8th primarily but 3rd-8th are welcome)

  • The choir is open to all children in grades three through eight. The choir sings at the Friday masses led by the middle schoolers throughout the school year and at special events including Veterans Day, Community Leaders' Luncheon, and special Christmas performances at Santa’s Village, Dallas Heritage Village or North Park Mall. Children will receive ear training, learn rhythm and vocal expression, and music reading skills.

• Are you looking for a unique after-school or summer program for your children? Welcome to Drama Kids! We proudly offer SPCCS students live classes, with a performance at the end of the school year. 
  Our classes provide children with a foundation of vital skills to help them succeed in school and throughout their lives. Drama classes provide children with several fundamental abilities, including self-esteem, confidence, creative thinking, acting skills, public speaking skills, as well as leadership and teamwork skills. Whether your child has an active interest in acting and the theater, or they simply want to make new friends and explore the development of important attributes, Drama Kids is a perfect choice.
  Our director is Tricia Foster. Tricia holds a BFA in Theatre Arts performance from Stephens College and attended graduate school at the University of North Texas where she earned a Texas Teaching Certificate in Theatre Arts and English. She has been involved in theatre all her life as an actress, director, and stage manager, working at professional and community theatre venues. She has over 30 years of teaching experience, working with children of all ages.
  We know that Drama Develops Kids! We are committed to making sure your student receives an excellent experience in developing their speaking skills, confidence, and acting abilities through the wonderful fun of our fast-paced program. • Packer Band - Music Learning Band (5th-8th)
  • The Music Learning Band Program is available to any student in grades four through eight. Band instruction happens after school. Band Fees are paid directly to Music Learning Band. Students will choose a band instrument, learn to play, and have the opportunity to play in concerts at various times throughout the year.

• Athletics through the YMCA (PK-4th)
